The story
On a rainy afternoon the child opens the dress-up box, and every costume whisks them into a dream job. As a doctor they listen to their teddy's heartbeat; as a chef they stir soup for the whole street; as a pilot they fly the teddy over the clouds to visit Grandma. As a scientist they grow a giant sunflower to feed the birds; as an artist they paint a rainbow for a lonely neighbour; as a rescue firefighter they help a kitten down from a tree; as a teacher they help a friend read their very first word; and as an astronaut they fix a satellite so faraway families can talk. When every costume is back in the box, the child smiles in the mirror: “I can be anything, and I can be kind in all of them.”
