The story
The class wonders whether the wind is the same high above the school. The child compares a windsock with a weather chart and makes a prediction. A teacher operates and launches the weather balloon while the children watch from the marked safe area. The readings bring a surprise, so the child changes their idea and draws what the evidence showed. Learning means being ready to think again.
