The story
One afternoon, a fuzzy grey worry-cloud starts floating above the child's shoulder, raining tiny drops of doubt whenever they think about tomorrow's school show. The cloud grows bigger whenever they try to bottle it inside. But on a sunny hilltop bench near the pine forest, they sit beside a wise little tortoise who listens without rushing. Gently, the child holds a smooth turquoise worry stone found by the brook and speaks their worries aloud, one by one. With every spoken feeling, the grey cloud softens, turns lavender, and slowly dissolves into the warm golden light of the setting sun. Their shoulders drop, a deep breath fills their chest, and a bright smile warms their face.
