The story
The child ties on a red cape and waits for a superpower to arrive. Nothing zaps, nothing whooshes... until they spot a lost puppy by the bakery. With a grown-up beside them, they read the tag and walk the puppy home, and a tiny golden star lights up on the cape. At the park a friend sits alone, looking sad, so the child sits down and shares a snack and a silly joke until the friend laughs: another star. When a neighbour's shopping bag splits on the steps, the child chases every rolling orange: another star. Soon other people start helping too, holding doors, sharing umbrellas, planting flowers, and the whole town twinkles with good deeds. That night the child looks at their glowing cape and knows the truth: small kindness is a real superpower.
