The story
When the school funfair turns into an overwhelming swirl of sirens, whistles, and shouting crowds, everything feels like a prickly storm inside the child's chest. But tucked in their pocket is a special superpower: a pair of teal noise-canceling headphones decorated with glowing star stickers. Slipping them over their ears, the deafening roar softens into a gentle, muffled murmur, like floating inside a warm soap bubble. Sitting beside a calm therapy cat in the quiet sensory tent, the child takes three slow breaths, watching dust motes dance in a beam of sunlight. Restored, centered, and proud of knowing their own needs, they return to the games with a serene smile.
