The story
A new baby is coming home. The child helps get ready: a folded blanket, a chosen name for the toy in the cot, a drawing taped above the door. When the baby finally arrives, they are smaller and louder and sleepier than expected, and the child discovers something nobody told them — that being the big one is a job you grow into, one small kindness at a time.
