The story
On a rainy Saturday at the museum, the child spots a little green door behind the giant dinosaur skeleton. It creaks open onto a sunny valley of ferns, waterfalls and friendly dinosaurs. Beside the path, a baby triceratops is calling for its family: it has wandered too far from home. The child kneels, shares an apple and promises to help. A gentle long-neck giant lowers her head so the child can climb up and look across the whole valley. Then the ground begins to rumble! But it is only a herd of dinosaurs strolling down to the river, and there at the back is the baby's family. The baby trots home with a happy honk. The child slips back through the green door just as the museum guide calls everyone together, with a fern leaf pressed in their explorer's notebook and a secret nobody else knows.
