The story
At an easel in the sunlit art studio, the child is painting a quiet village pond when their brush slips: SPLAT! A big, messy splotch of cobalt blue sits right in the middle of the paper. Tears prickle, and the child reaches to tear the sheet in frustration. But the encouraging art teacher kneels down with a smile, holding a giant rainbow rubber eraser shaped like an acorn. “Every mistake is just the start of something you haven't imagined yet,” she whispers. Together, they turn the accidental splash into the soaring wing of a magnificent fantasy bird, and the crooked line into the branch of a flowering cherry tree. Grinning with flour-dusted fingers, the child learns that brave creative hearts never fear a slip of the brush.
